Assess and plan
Make an inventory of your antique furniture and identify pieces that need special protection. Plan their move well in advance.
Use specialized packing
Wrap furniture with blankets, plastic wrap, and bubble wrap to protect surfaces and corners. Custom crates may be necessary for highly fragile items.
Disassemble when possible
For furniture that can be taken apart, remove fragile components and pack them separately for safer transport.
Secure transport
Place furniture securely in the moving truck to prevent shifting during transit.
Setup and protection on arrival
Position your furniture in its final location and carefully remove protective materials. Check that all pieces are intact and ready for use.
