Get ready for your residential move

How long a residential move takes depends mostly on three things: volume, access and the distance between the home and the truck. Here is how the day unfolds and what to prepare.

In shortEasy Move moves apartments, condos and houses anywhere in Québec, starting from Châteauguay. Packing materials are included. Furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in the price. $75,000 cargo insurance. Working time depends mostly on volume, access (floors, stairs, elevator) and distance: describe them in the estimate request.

How the day unfolds

A typical sequence, to be confirmed with the crew for your move.

Before
You describe your home, the access and your large furniture. The team reviews the request and confirms the details with you.
The crew arrives

Protection and loading
Furniture is protected, then loaded in an order planned for unloading.
Transport
Drive to the new address (or to the extra stop, if there is one).
Delivery
You tell the crew where each piece of furniture and each box goes, room by room.

You do a walk-through before the crew leaves, according to the terms of your agreement.
