Easy Move Montreal Inc, 12 Rue Saint-Luc, Châteauguay (QC) J6K 1Z8, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. As the law provides, the person with the highest authority in the company acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. • Through the estimate form: name, phone, email, preferred date and flexibility, type of move, number of movers requested, addresses (departure, arrival, intermediate stop) with floor and access, approximate inventory, message, and how you heard about the company.
• Through the contact form: name, email, phone, subject, preferred date (optional), message, your consent, the language, the form page and, if you arrived through an ad or a tracked link, its parameters (utm). These messages go directly to Krealo CRM (Montréal), without going through the site's database.
• Whether or not you want to receive a copy by email (no automatic email is sent for now).
• The date and time of submission and the version of this policy that was accepted.
• From the “Your details” step, even if you don't send the request: your name, your email or phone, the chosen destination, the language, the form page and, if you arrived through an ad or a tracked link, its parameters (utm). A notice says so at that step. Sole purpose: calling you back about your estimate.

Only to review your request, get back to you, prepare the moving contract if you wish, organize the confirmed move and meet our legal and tax obligations. No marketing, no resale. We only collect what is necessary for these purposes, and we will ask for your consent before any other use.

Requests are stored in a Google Cloud Firestore database located in Montréal (region northamerica-northeast1). Only authorized Easy Move staff, signed in to the administrative area with an assigned role, can view them. Krealo Media, which develops and maintains the website, may access them for technical maintenance.

A copy of each request (and of the details of a started estimate), as well as each contact form message, is sent to Krealo CRM, Easy Move's customer follow-up tool, whose database is also located in Montréal. Only Easy Move team members invited to that CRM, and Krealo Media for maintenance, can access it.

No advertising cookies. Only with your consent (the “Accept” button of the cookie notice) do we measure audience with Google Analytics 4: page views, device, approximate origin and two actions (quote request sent, tap on a phone number). No name, email, phone number or address is sent to Google; Google's advertising features are turned off. Before you accept, or if you decline, nothing is requested from Google and the site works the same way, including the quote request. You can change your mind at any time with “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page. Google may process this data outside Québec. The planner on the home page keeps your cities and your date in your browser's temporary storage (cleared when you close the tab) to pre-fill the form; nothing is put in the page address.

Krealo Chat (the chat) only loads if you click “Chat with us”. It then keeps a visitor identifier in your browser. Chat data is hosted by Google Cloud (region nam5, United States): it is therefore kept outside Québec, with a provider that is bound by contract to protect it. The visitor profile is deleted after 30 days; conversations are kept; you can ask for them to be anonymized by calling (514) 578-6903. To erase the identifier, clear this site's data in your browser.

The interactive map on the Contact page and in the footer only loads from OpenStreetMap if you click “Show the interactive map”; until then, the preview is an image served by this website.

• Estimate request, sent or only started, or contact form message, with no follow-up: deleted or anonymized no later than 6 years after our last contact.
• Completed move (contract, invoice, claim): kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, then deleted or anonymized.

Access is limited to the people who need it, with an assigned account and role. In the event of a confidentiality incident that presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, and we keep a register of incidents.

• Access your information and obtain a copy of it, including in a structured, commonly used technological format.
• Have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected.
• Withdraw your consent or ask for your information to be deleted, subject to our legal obligations.
• Be informed of the information we hold about you and how it is used.

To exercise these rights, contact the person in charge at (514) 578-6903 or in writing at 12 Rue Saint-Luc, Châteauguay (QC) J6K 1Z8. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

We will publish any new version of this policy here, with its date. The version you accepted when you submitted your request is recorded along with it.
