In short

For an accurate estimate: full addresses, floors and access, preferred date and flexibility, a list of large furniture and an approximate number of boxes, heavy or fragile items. An estimate is neither a guaranteed price nor a booking.

The information to gather

  • Departure address, arrival address, and an intermediate stop if there is one.
  • For each address: floor, stairs or elevator.
  • Preferred date, and whether you are flexible.
  • Approximate number of boxes, beds, sofas, tables, desks, chairs and appliances.
  • Any heavy, bulky or fragile item (piano, safe, large mirror).

What an estimate is — and isn't

An estimate is an assessment based on what you describe. It is not a guaranteed price: actual time, different access or a larger volume can change the cost. Nor is it a booking: the date is held only after the company confirms it.

If you don't know everything

That's okay: share what you know and write "approximate" in the message. The team can ask you questions before preparing the agreement.

General preparation guide; it does not replace your municipality's rules or the terms of your contract.

Let's talk about your move

Describe your route, the access at each address and what needs to move: the team reviews your request and gets back to you.
